Kieth Hufnagel was born in New York City on Jan 21st, 1974 and after a long and successful career as a professional skateboarder, he opened the first HUF boutique (the name 'HUF' obviously comes from an abbreviation of Keith's surname 'Hufnagel') in 2002 on an offbeat block in San Francisco’s Tenderloin district, bringing together the most respected skate, streetwear, and sneaker brands under one roof.  HUF 'the brand' was started several years later than the physical store, but quickly propelled itself to the forefront of the streetwear and skateboard industries where it remains to this day!
