Wrapped in a sleek, dark purple upper, this is Na-Kel Smith's latest model for Adidas.

The latest colourway to come from Na-Kel Smith, making this his fourth signature colourway, is a rich purple rendition of the Adidas Matchcourt RX Hi. With the upper consisting of a combination of suede and velvet, in a plush purple, this is definitely going to turn heads. The durable suede coats all vulnerable areas, including the toebox and ollie-prone areas, making this suitable for any skating activity. Whilst the purple tone pays respect to Hollywood royalty and music icons, which somehow reminds us of Prince, Smith is paying his dues to the same people who have influenced his personal style.

The inclusion of an EVA insole, which offers additional comfort and support, means this can be worn off the board and away from the park with no problems. This is complimented by that soft suede that worms its way into the lining. The matchcourt wouldn't be complete without a vulcanized sole, offering additional board grip.

Gold detailing on the sidewall of the shoe by Adidas's signature 'Three Stripes breaks up the purple throughout, spelling out Na-Kel, this is matched by a gold Adidas logo on the tongue. A final intricate detail can be seen on the heel: red embroidery of two hands touching, which is similar to Michaelangelo's 'The Creation of Adam'.
